Simply move the tongue cleaner three to four times over the tongue from back to front for effective tongue cleaning. This prevents toxins and other bacteria from finding their way back into the body. Cleaning of the tongue has even received backing from the top level of the American Dental Association: “I really think that it takes oral hygiene to a higher level”, said Richard Price, professor of dentistry in Boston and spokesman for the Association.
