Each refill kit includes 12oz of scented wax in a microwavable and compostable envelope with a wick, wick holder, and sticker. Allow to cool and wax will harden at the top. Pull out wax and discard. Wash vessel with soap and water to remove any waxy residue. Peel the wick sticker and place your new wick in the center of the bottom of your vessel. Remove the wick holder from the envelope, and microwave the wax for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and allow to sit until the wax melts. It should be an opaque consistency, just melted enough to be pour-able. (Be careful not to overheat the wax or it may cause the envelope to leak or cause damage to the glass.) Pour into your vessel. If using for a smaller vessel, allow the remaining wax to re-harden in the envelope for the next time. Place the wick through the middle of the wick holder to hold in place. WARNING: Before heating, inspect the refill bag for any tears or punctures. Do not use if the bag is damaged. The provided wicks are specifically designed for jars with certain diameters: Small Tumbler Kit wicks are for jars with a 2″ diameter. Large Tumbler Kit wicks are for jars with a 3″ diameter. Using an incorrect wick size may result in an improper burn, which can affect the performance and safety of your candle. Clean any wax spills immediately to prevent accidents or damage to surfaces.
