TECSUN S-8800 is a PLL DSP multiband receiver that can be fully operated with the use of a remote control. It receives FM, Longwave (LW), Medium Wave (MW) and Shortwave (SW) frequency bands and is Single Sideband (SSB) capable.This radio receiver is equipped with an analog High-IF circuit and DSP triple conversion decoding technology. The DSP microchip digitizes the analog radio signal which, in combination with the PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) circuitry, greatly improves the radio's sensitivity, selectivity, S/N ratio and anti-interference capability.Fitted with a class-AB type power amplifier and an ultra-dynamic full-range speaker, it creates a wonderful sound with excellent high/low tone selection.
