TECSUN PL-990x is a portable PLL DSP multiband receiver that can receive receive FM, Longwave (LW), Medium Wave (MW) and Shortwave (SW) frequency bands and is Single Sideband (SSB) capable. In this special edition kit, the PL-990x comes in a hard cover toolbox like case and includes the Tecsun Q3 radio recorder, as well as bunch of other accessories.Tecsun PL-990x is equipped with an analog High-IF circuit and DSP triple conversion decoding technology. The DSP microchip digitizes the analog radio signal which, in combination with the PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) circuitry, greatly improves the radio's sensitivity, selectivity, S/N ratio and anti-interference capability.
