Description Properties of Amelanchier Ballerina Tree Amelanchier is a vigorous small tree, ideal for smaller spaces and gardens.  The Young leaves are bronze-tinged and turn orange to purple-brown in autumn. Flowers are white and relatively large. Fruits that appear are a small red berry that turn a deeper purple.
